This is almost a parody of paranoia, right? Free Beacon’s Lachlan Markay reported yesterday that Hillary Clinton’s team prepared for her appearance on a tough, hard-hitting interview show by getting the questions ahead of time. That tough, hard-hitting interviewer was … Steve Harvey?
The campaign memo reveals that Clinton’s staff worked with Harvey to craft the structure of the interview, and briefed the Democratic presidential nominee ahead of time on the precise wording of Harvey’s questions.
The questions touched on Clinton’s granddaughter, her preference for deep dish or thin crust pizza, her campaign’s “great start,” efforts to bridge America’s racial divide, and her support for gun control policies.
According to the memo, Clinton’s staff saw Harvey’s show as an effective and low-risk way to reach out to female and African American voters. They also noted recent episodes of the show that focused on issues that Clinton had stressed during her campaign.
Clinton’s staff pitched the show on some of those issues, including gun control, and noted that Harvey would not likely force Clinton to go into detail defending her positions.
“Please note that the tone of the show is generally light so even on policy questions, Steve won’t go too deep into details,” the memo noted.

Do you really think that any celebrity or politician goes on a talk show without knowing the agenda in advance?
The whole purpose of a "talk show" is to give the guest a platform to promote themselves.

Donald Trump puts himself out there to be grilled by Sean Hannity three or four times a week and there has never been any indication that Sean informs Trump about the questions prior to their being asked.
The Trump team knows it is two on one, hand signals, questions in advance, etc. So what will they do differently knowing that?
Nothing Clinton says or does is honest and genuine. She is all tightly controlled, tightly scripted, that’s why she avoids real campaign events, such as rallies where the public is encouraged to attend. Most of her events are closed fundraisers, and “organizing events” where she talks to local activities. What “rallies” she has depends largely on “crowds” that are bussed in from local schools, and local union “activists”. That’s why when some animal rights people upset her a month or so ago, that guy had to come bounding on stage and reassure her that everything is OK, and told her to just keep talking.
Steve isn’t a journalist. He’s a PC show host.
He is the idiot, who screwed up the Miss Universe contest!
She can’t even do a debate without an ear piece and a liberal moderator to kiss her butt so what makes people think she would ever do a real no questions off-limits interview? She’s a fraud, a criminal who doesn’t want to be exposed.

I'm not referring to a news show.
I'm referring to talk shows like Oprah, Ellen, the Tonight Show, Conan, etc.
Their guests are almost always there to promote themselves, or a movie or TV show. It's not a serious show, and you shouldn't expect serious questions or serious answers.
Question for this Sundays Debate....Will audience questions be submitted in advance to Moderators and screened for who wuill be selected to ask questions based on pre-screening? For example, will a fat lady be selected to ask a question about the Miss Universe thing? Or will a person be selected to ask Trump a Tax question? Will questions about Hillary’s Email, Foundation and Bimbo Eruption suppression be muted? Trump should find out about this. I would like to see Jennifer Flowers, Juanita Broderick, Paula Jones, Kathleen Wiley and Monika Lewinski in the audience. But, then again, I ask too much.
Mr. Harvey can you ask her about this? It’s a black thang.

Candidates obsessed with creating the image of a Regular Guy or Gal, aren't. Sometimes it's easier than others. If Hillary pulled off a rubber face mask to reveal a Reptilian from Zeta Reticuli, I'd believe it. But Kindly Grandma ain't working.

The really surprising part about this is that she had the questions ahead of time so must have prepared the “I’ll try to talk to white people” line ahead of time.
Consider this. In America, television soap opera weddings attract more viewers than a presidential address. And debates don’t do that much better.
