“The two primary models, the GFS and the Euro, show the eye going right up the coastline. Once again, please save your downcasting and media bashing for another day. Matthew appears to be bombing out with a massive pressure drop and this will, in all likelihood, be a extremely serious matter.”

LOL, We don’t need you fear mongering Pennsylvania Junior Meteorologists here in Florida.

Fear mongering? I was reporting what was coming from models and the NHC, jackass. There was a fortunate wobble that kept the eye 20 miles further offshore and that made a big difference - and the NHC reported exactly that possibility - a wobble 20 miles west and we would have a much worse situation.

During Sandy we had nitwits like you downcasting the storm and saying the danger was hyped. All Sandy did was cause over 50 billion in damage and 147 deaths.

You downcasters all sprain your shoulders patting yourselves on the back when there is a fortunate shift in the forecast track - something I was very glad to see - I would rather have morons like you berate me than see a major disaster unfold. But you are nowhere to be found when the dangers materialize as forecast. So go p*** up a rope.

He’s doing just fine.....I too have family in Florida who have a tendency to down play this storm because Floridians are accustomed to hearing these reports so often during a storm......that does not change the dangers of what this storm can do nor how it can shift.
