I used to be a met guy - hence my screen name - so I pay attention to this stuff. I’m watching TWC right now and there’s all sorts of ads - dog food, mattresses, MMA, and leaf blowers. On a ad to content basis, TWC has more advertising than any other channel, so it’s no surprise that politicians look to it as an outlet. All that said, typically on TWC when SHTF, they suspend advertising and stick to weather.
