Removing emergency personnel in an emergency? I’m sorry but that’s just not right. There are storm shelters for this purpose.

"Removing emergency personnel in an emergency? Im sorry but thats just not right. There are storm shelters for this purpose." That snippet didn't really give the full story. The usual policy now is that once winds get too dangerous, then 911 calls will have to wait until conditions become safe again. Until then, yeah - the first responders will be hunkered down.

That's why they're evacuating.....they need the rescue personnel AFTER it passes to rescue people that couldn't make it out.

There are storm shelters for this purpose. No, what would not be right would be to expect emergency personnel to risk their lives for idiots who refused a mandatory evacuation notice. Actions have consequences, and sometimes those consequences are harsh.
The emergency personnel will be available after the storm to remove bodies.
