I have enough up close and personal experience with these things to view them with a clear head. The not-so-bad, the unimaginably bad, and the utter fizzles. Seen them all and dealt with the consequences, from 5 minute power interruptions to floods and six weeks out of my home. I assess my risks and have a practiced appreciation of government and media attempts to panic people and convince them that they are the only experts. Does that help?

Yeah you are pulling it out of the air. I've been near or in every storm in South Florida since 46' but I know better than to claim this or that will happen in a scenario like this.
