A record rainfall of 8.94 inches was set at Savannah GA yesterday.
This breaks the old record of 2.81 set in 1946.

Storm surge, reported by tide gage.

The National ocean service tide gauge in Charleston
Harbor peaked at 9.29 feet above mean lower low water.
This ranks as the 3rd highest high tide on record and
the highest since hurricane Hugo in 1989.
