I think each person has to determine if or not they leave....surely those on beaches should not be there.....my family’s hunkered down but in a good place...20 years there they are well prepared and know what to expect.
You’re right, my sister’s place is two blocks off the beach, definately not where you want to be IMHO. But I think that anyone who stays should accept full responsibility for their safety through the storm and not expect any outside help until the most immediate danger passes.
