I hate to say it, but I think the death toll in Haiti will be in the thousands as they reach the currently impassible areas.

Trump’s statement is refreshingly adult.

Death toll in Haiti, 264.

Those poor people. Devastated in the 2010 earthquake, rolled by the Clintons, and now hit by a hurricane.

‘Any’ serious weather is always going to hit Haiti hard...it’s always in one form of crisis or another.....it’s a money maker for agencies and others.

The Clintons caused more damage than the earthquakes and hurricanes combined.

So, getting the energy from Gulf Stream...is that apt to keep it more off shore? Any indication you see this may come closer in?

Right front inner eyewall is absolutely parked over Freeport. Must be horrible over there.

I was so relieved to read good news from southern Florida that I didn't even think about the Bahamas. They appear to be getting the full brunt of the hurricane. May God protect their people.

CNN wants people to PANIC!!! If you're stupid to be anywhere near Matthew and you die (like boating, surfing or swimming) I won't feel sorry for you.

My boat is parked in the garage, the family boat was put in dry storage. I'm not boating until Monday.

answer machine picks up....might be busy or power outage....

If a land line, the answer machine likely won't work in a power outage. Circuits and cell towers are very busy tonight.

This radar loop shows the concentric eyewall wrapping up neatly.

They have a really screeching hyhenna type bellowing as they’re in rutt.....we were high in the hills where they gather and could here them bellow while we sat under the milky way at a neat bon fire on this huge deck....
