Yes, estimated poorly. That number includes ALL beneficiaries, including elderly social security recipients and people getting veteran’s benefits, who aren’t all that likely to vote Democrat.

The growth in disability has not been driven by retirement or veterans. The growth in beneficiaries has been quietly orchestrated by this administration and exacerbated by the fact that SSDI is an automatic ticket to Medicare. SSDI is not means-tested and that equates to some people making more on disability than they ever made working.

Many people want to work; many people are significantly disabled and often don’t get the medical care they need, but a significant percentage of recipients view it as a way to make easy money. All it takes is a lack of pride and integrity. In my experience, that is the textbook definition of a Democrat voter.
