A townhall in a small town is a good idea. Reminds me of when big name rock bands would play some small club just days prior to a big show to work out the kinks and get tuned up.
I take it this is his warmup to Sunday night’s town hall?
Early in the primaries he did this fairly often and fairly well. On Sunday, he’ll have to efficiently ooze empathy in a concise, few seconds, response—and then pivot to expand to the larger message he wants to convey on his policies.
I wonder if he will attempt that tonight.
