The group retorted that it had already submitted tens of thousands of registrations in Indiana this year and that by zeroing in on just a handful of problematic applications the state appeared to be criminalizing a basic feature of voter registration itself, which inevitably involves submitting paperwork that contains imperfections. It was just a small mistake when you found a dozen or so dead people registering to vote. It's not like that represents any intentional wrong doing. It was sloppy, an oversight. What's the bid deal? What difference does it make, at this point, anyway?
Good work Indiana.

Yep, they are trying to minimize things, but forgeries =/= imperfections. The fact that they try to minimize it tells me they know it’s systemic, and probably by design.
