Fox is talking about the whole insult thing. Trumps base doesn’t care when he insults others because he’s not politically correct. Hillary’s insults don’t work because we’ve turned them back against her.
Kaine’s problem is that he did not believe the talking points he was delivering... you could tell it, he was doing what he was told to do, but he did not believe it! You could tell, his body language, mannerisms, verbal tone, ALL drastically shifted when he delivered a talking point that clearly he did not believe...
Every so often Kaine would deliver a few honest lines, and he was a completely different person, and then suddenly remember oh yea, attack.. and drop a talking point he clearly didn’t believe.
Pence, like Trump, came across as authentic... Kaine like Hillary came across as inauthentic.
Pence owned this one, 100%, no doubt about it. Kaine’s only benefit from that performance might be to create some energy in the leftist base... but if Hillary has to be doing that in early Oct... its over for her.
