BERLIN — WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is promising “significant” disclosures on subjects including the U.S. election and Google in the coming weeks as the organization marks its 10th anniversary.
Assange, speaking by video link to an anniversary news conference in Berlin, said Tuesday that WikiLeaks plans to start a series of publications this week, but wouldn’t specify the timing and subject. He says the group hopes “to be publishing every week for the next 10 weeks” and the leaks include “significant material” on war, arms, oil, Google and the U.S. election.

I am really amazed at the comments on this thread. They are uniformed and lacking context. Many sound like petulant children. If there is no first installment this week as promised, then it is time to be frustrated and angry.
Having watched it in its entirety in real time this morning, I came away with a far different perception than many here who probably did not watch the actual presentation. The filter of the MSM is alive and well. Go directly to the source and form your own opinion of what happened.
I believe you’re right. I do think the USA would lose a lot credibility in the world and there would be doubts about our true reasons for going to war in the future.

I am no big fan of Assange for his massive dump of diplomatic cables that damaged our national interests and put people at risk. It was irresponsible. That said, the enemy of my enemy is my friend when it comes to keeping Hillary out of the WH.
Wake me if Assange actually ever does give up anything worthwhile. In the meantime, if I want to hear someone rattle on incoherently at 4 AM I’ll call the sanitarium and ask to speak with an inmate.
