Not necessarily, but you can lose your tax exempt status by preaching from the pulpit. I think most of these churches just have the speech from the politician after services are over.

Not if she didn't have 'intent' to campaign. Apparently she kind of 'fell' into this almost empty church and just walked up to the lectern and started speaking.
