His actions remind me of Ross Perot. Perot could have won the election but every time he took the lead or was ready to, he would pull some stunt to loose all but his hard core supporters votes. He was in the race to put Clinton in office. I wonder about Trump. An average FReeper could and would have kicked Hillery’s ass in that debate.

Yep, you said it. I didn’t want to say it, but that thought has crossed my mind ...

...I don’t think that is going on, I just don’t think Trump thought he needed to prep the way you do for a debate...which was a HUGE mistake...

...as a former military prosecutor I have been (figuratively) tearing my hair out at the performances of GOP nominees in debates ever since 1992 - with the sole exception of Romeny’s first debate - (after which, of course, he went full wimp and didn’t finish the job)....

...the problem is that the skills that made Trump as big a success in his field are not necessarily the skills needed to come out on top in a debate format - especially with hostile moderators - he needed lots and lots of prep and PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE ... hopefully he will do some of that before round 2 ...

... but I am not optimistic ...
