I agree. Let the masses fiddle with the MOE stuff directly. Public polls are just for persuasion and entertainment anyway.

I just watched Larry Sabado appearing on Kelly on Fox who has a very pessimistic view of the Trump situation. He cites three national polls in which Hillary is substantially ahead. He cites Battleground polls in states like Colorado where Clinton is now up 11 and he says that her situation improves while Trump's continues to deteriorate. He notes that these results are in before the New York Times revelations about Trump's taxes.
At the end he puts her chances of winning the election at 60 to 65% his chances at 30 to 35% roughly the odds he sees are 2 to 1 against Trump.
I know Dr. Sabado, I have talked with him at some length about this election and, while he does not share my politics, he is a careful scholar who calls 'em as he sees 'em. Attacking Dr. Sabado will gain one points on these threads but this is the place where many heads are in the sand.
