Pope Francis said on Sunday that homosexuals and transsexuals should be treated with respect but that teaching gender theory is unacceptable "indoctrination" of young people.

"When a person (who is gay) arrives before Jesus, Jesus certainly will not say, 'Go away because you are homosexual,'" Francis said.

Not according to Jesus . . .

“For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit” (Luke 6:43).

Any person professing himself to be a Catholic that would obey anything this child of Satan proclaims as truth are indeed gullible.

The Catholic Faith is a developed body of principles and dogmas. Educated Catholics know that body of doctrine. Educated Catholics don’t wake up each morning wondering what the Pope says the Catholic Faith is today.

I didn’t say that I trust Bergoglio, or think he’s a good man, etc., etc. I said that he COULD teach infallibly, IF he fulfilled all the conditions for such a statement.

Nothing this Pope has said or will say in a homily, a press conference, a tweet, etc., no matter how stupid or erroneous it may be, calls Papal Infallibility into question.

Said little Arthur as he plugged his ears, stamped his feet, and sang La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La, La,

All popes are quite fallible, and most do fail most of the time.

The dogma of Papal Infallibility doesn’t say that the Pope is a good man. I.e., that every Pope is going to be a “good tree.”

You are pushing the heresy of Donatism.

The dogma of Papal Infallibility doesn’t say that Popes are infallible, or that they are sinless, or decent, or principled, or honest.

There have been dozens of bad Popes. This fact has absolutely nothing to do with Papal Infallibility.

The reason Protestant attacks on Catholicism are laughed at by informed Catholics is that the attacks are against things the Catholic Church does not teach.

It would be a good idea to pause in your attacks on the dogma of Papal Infallibility, and FIND OUT WHAT IT SAYS.

Biblically, there can be no pope.

That is why the world laughs at catholics.

Yeshua roundly excoriated his disciples for seeking a position of elevation. He said that all believers are equal, with no exceptions.

What was Jesus talking about when he told Peter he was giving him “the keys to the Kingdom”?

What was Jesus talking about when he asked Peter, “Do you love me more than these?”

Doesn’t sound like the absolute equality you are asserting.

Only when the Pontiff Speaks from his Chair; “Ex Cathedra”; on matters of Faith and Morals he is speaking infallibly.
But don’t expect the Bible Thumpers, mesmerized by a word in Leviticus, a chapter in Deuteronomy, or a verse in Lamentations to grasp this.
They share a common attribute w/all hard left militants, namely their ignorance and intolerance.
History is mute testament to that reality; be it Rousseau, St.Just, Marx, Trotsky; among hundreds of these fanatics.

Thanks.

They never define their terms, and never respond to questions about Scripture verses they didn’t cherry-pick. And they misconstrue at all times.

I try ignore the proven haters!

I don’t know it this Pope has ever read the Bible or not but I am pretty sure he has read all the Devil’s talking points and has taken them to heart.
