Considering the current pope this is not such an absurd question.
Some RCs ask, "Is the Pope Catholic? while making atheists Protestant.

The Catholic Church--- even under Pope Francis --- doesn't have rejectors of the Nicene Creed, women pastors, lesbian or gay marriages, atheists or abortion-enthusiasts at the pulpit, "teachers" who call theism idolatry, open deniers of the authority of Scripture or the deity of Christ, etc.
But other than that, yeah.
