You either support our Constitution or you don't.

If Reagan's vice-president has decided in his final years that he supports the democrat socialist then he truly has lost whatever infinitetessimal shred of sanity he has left.

Not that I feel any compassion for him ... in fact, I find his decision -- and him -- to be contemptible, ugly and ungrateful toward America and to patriotic Americans.

This is no surprise; the Bush family has always been like this. I remember reading a book about Bush Sr. by John Podhoretz who had been one of his speechwriters. He wrote that after Bush lost and ordered his staff to write a farewell speech, he told them he “didn’t want any of that conservative crap”. Still doesn’t, and neither do his sons. Remember when they try to get back in politics.

Sanity's got nothing to do with it. Poppy was shoved onto the Reagan ticket by the Liberal Rockefeller wing of the GOP to "keep an eye" on him. They did this after the whole "Ford co-Presidency" idea was thoroughly rejected by Reagan at the convention in '80.

GHW Bush was NEVER a conservative. He was a full-on globalist, and began dismantling the Reagan revolution the second he took over.
