I’ve always hated the bite out of the apple in the Apple logo. Why can’t Apple have a full apple? The story is that when the logo was first shown for review, insiders at the company complained it would be mistaken for a cherry. Therefore the bite, to distinguish it as an apple and not a cherry. If Jobs sat around cherry orchards instead of apple orchards, there would be no bite.
