So OK, is this something actually new?
No, it is instead something all us men have discovered once we decided to act the Man.
Oh dear Gaia this Lell is from Seattle. Run men Run!
Also, apparently from her words she has already chewed up
at least two husbands.
“Note also that when Eve seduces Adam, after the Fall when God confronts them both in Eden, God does not question Eve. He questions Adam. “What did you do?”
I would do unlike Bill Clinton did, when confronted with the truth of Monica.
I would as a Man, say honestly and truthfully to
God and all Men, “Yes, I fell to her seductiveness and I enjoyed it....BUT, it did not distract me from my duties as your missionary and leader.
Yaknow, Monica truly was a sweet innocent little girl when she met Bill...No, not a virgin, but still very innocent....All she did was allow him to use her. Monica did NOT seduce him....Bill knew of his power over her and used it.
And we all paid for the cigar only he tasted.
Monica, God bless you. Forget the past. You got stuff yet to offer.
Your dad was a wise man!
I wish I had met him.
No the answer is to stand tall against all adversity. I think that is being a man.
It may be a faulty memory, but I swear a friend of mine got his official work badge photo taken wearing a tuxedo t-shirt.
Thank you sincerely.
Dad’s name was Wirt Val Stewart, a veteran of WWII and Vietnam and Korea.
Dad and I are Scottish.
I was born to him in Nuremberg Germany immediately after war world 2...I graduated school in Heidelberg Germany.
Our house maid was Frau Eshler....she had a concentration camp tattoo on her forearm...Frau Eshler is now dead but she was by far the strongest person in my life. Frau Eshler was a Jew that lived in our basement and taught me that people are just people.
“Being manly is more than how much you can beat up a woman.”
Are you sure that you have posted to the correct person? I said nothing about beating up women! ;-)
Very insightful.
I tell you it was automatic electric starters.
It takes a real man to crank start a car and prop spin start an airplane.
Even if they do - I won’t date them. I won’t have any part of their messed up ‘truths’.
I just wanted to add that to the conversation; since many men do believe that pushing women around is a strength. It’s not.
And .. I don’t agree that American men marrying Asian women is somehow the solution; or somehow shows women how they should really treat men.
American women were pioneers; many of them had the strength to lead their families when their husbands died on the trail. I don’t think being strong is a BAD thing for a woman; but her personal relationship with her husband is a partnership .. not a dictatorship (for either partner).
I used to employ a crazy preacher at the business I used to run. He told me that what a woman wants is,”A man who will TELL her what she wants.” He must have known something, he had been married thirty years to a woman who called him MISTER, no one ever heard him called by his first name by his wife and he had eight children who treated him with great respect.
Michelle is more masculine than Barry.
I could not tell you the answer to that. All my doings hve been with normal women that want a normal man.
In the fifties, as a grade school child, I was told by female teachers that, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.” That says it all and it is an unbreakable law, when women abdicate that position of responsibility they still rule the world but things turn out horridly.
Years ago one of our sons attended a wedding for a friend, and the guys who were part of the wedding wore Tux T-shirts.
The bride and her maids of honor wore Tees looking like a wedding dresses and maids of honor dresses.
The couple rebelled at the ridiculous costs of a regular wedding and did the T Shirt thing.
Their dinner was catered by a great pizza place with a portable outdoor brick pizza oven. The caterer provided a great salad and several pizzas baked at the reception. Everything was served on paper plates with plastic forks. An upscale bakery provided great cupcakes for those attending and a big two tier cupcake for the bride and groom to cut.
The groom worked for a winery, and the winery provided the wine and the outside area for the wedding with awnings, tables and chairs for the reception. They limited the attendance to stay within the codes.
The new couple used the money saved as a down payment on a new home.
Sounds like a well-grounded, very sensible couple. I hope it all worked out for them.
They are still married and have a couple of kids.
Both are real world people.
The wedding was a blast!
Moped?
This one has seat and wheels that are a bit oversized.
