NFL big wigs are as dumb as police big wigs who have 10 corpses and a dead perp named Achmed and wonder what was his motive.

I quit watching the NFL when they started showing they don’t like the nation they are the football league of.
I don’t want to oppress them by watching them get paid millions to play a game.

Mystery? It started with pink uniform accessories. Yeah, good cause, but I don't watch football to be reminded about cancer. The latest is players taking to the airwaves and games to highlight their complaining about social issues.
And they think it's a mystery? Clueless.

No mystery. Some viewers have had enough of dragging progressive politics into all aspects of pro. sports.
They look at sports mainly to escape from mundane and futile social concerns of the day. These viewers don’t like having this one escape room polluted with the same PC social concerns they are fleeing. But never mind what we all know. Keep pretending that it’s a big ,baffling unsolvable mystery.

The decline has become a mystery, for the media and surely for the NFL. Well, it is not Col Mustard in the kitchen with a candlestick! Can anyone in the NFL or MSM smell anything?

Uh huh. And newspapers don’t understand why readership is at all-time lows. And Target doesn’t understand why its sales are down. And Hollywood doesn’t understand why nobody is going to their movies.
The denial is strong ...

Not only is viewership down. There are people who are watching, but will avoid advertisers and sponsors whenever there's an alternative
I have done this my whole life, as I am so put off by the stupidity of the advertising, which has been a major factor, in my opinion, of the 'dumbing-down' of the population in general. Are advertisers really stupid enough to think that I will go buy something because some hot girl is advertising it? Or buy beer because I laughed at a commercial? No, I buy products strictly based on quality and price. Now the advertising must be appealing to someone somewhere or they wouldn't keep sinking billion$ into it, but it isn't to me!

Kapernick was bad enough. The poor baby, FORCED against his will to accept MILLIONS for sitting on the bench.
When poor babies took up his cry and crapped upon their country and its symbol, people (me,too) realized the only way I could express my discust with the inaction of the NFL was to turn my back on their whole world.
The stands will remain full because those seat are already paid for.
A league that will defend the obscene actions of “CERTAIN” of their players, but will not allow others to express their sorrow and sympathies over the massacre of the Police victims in Dallas is not worth bothering will.

What the NFLPA needs to do is what everyone else does when things arent going their way: scream its because of bigotry. Then they can move on and continue to ignore the real problem.
On the rare occasion I watch the Sunday morning blowhards on every channel, Im not watching to see who is planning to kneel for the national anthem and hear 15 minutes of chatter about the social implications and the subtle vote for Hillary pitches, I want information to help me with my fantasy team and my gambling. Im not saying Kaepernick and the TV stations dont have the right to do what they are doing. Of course they do. I have the same right to tune them all out.

“Fewer people are watching the NFL on TV, and no one really knows why. “
Big ball of light just appeared in the east early today....and no one really knows why.
