The light on hillary’s lectern was on from before she got to it in the beginning.

Regarding the "white light" on Hillary's podium....

Its an OLED flexible display film.

There is also pic of someone putting something, rectangular like a tape recorder, and plugging/wiring it in, into the podium long prior to the debate. Then it is removed AFTER the debate
