I’ve been turning that over in my mind, what might have been going through the son’s head? Did he think that by telling the operator his father was diabetic, he was providing an excuse or alibi for his father who had twice shot his sister? I think it’s an indication of how little the life of a female matters in that culture. Father has diabetes, so it’s ok if he shoots her.

No way will our cultures ever be compatible. If they want to continue to practice the twisted laws of their cult, they really should be confined to the desert from where it originated; stick to living in goat hair tents and drinking camel urine, instead of using cell phones to set off bombs and flying aircraft into sky scrapers.
