“At what point does Comey become part of the coverup and subject to prosecution himself?”

IMVHO he’s way past the point of no return.
He needs to spend the rest of his life in prison for covering up for Pickles Clinton.

Past the point of no return. He doesn't even know how what constitutes facts in an investigation.

When Rep. Ratcliffe from Texas questioned Director Comey today, he listed all the many times that evidence was electronically deleted or destroyed, included material under subpoena. Ratcliffe said, "this screams obstruction of justice."

The the answer he got from Comey, after listing the destruction of evidence, was, "To ignore that which we don't have . . . we live in a fact-based world . . . so it's hard for me to react to these things you don't have . . . so that's my reaction to it."
