I had to look it up. Guess that is an advantage of not getting newspapers:
“Since The Arizona Republic began publication in 1890, we have never endorsed a Democrat over a Republican for president. Never. This reflects a deep philosophical appreciation for conservative ideals and Republican principles.
This year is different....
...Clintons use of a private email server while secretary of State was a mistake, as she has acknowledged. Donations to the Clinton Foundation while she was secretary of State raise concerns that donors were hoping to buy access. Though there is no evidence of wrongdoing, she should have put up a firewall.”
The drawback to not getting a newspaper is that I cannot now boycott them!
I think it boils down to this: Many Republicans are fully on board The Cheap Labor Express! There is no doubt in my mind that many of Arizona’s elite Republicans - the ones who love McCain and McSally and loved Jim Kolbe - REALLY love cheap labor. And cheap labor means importing it from Mexico, or exporting manufacturing. Things Trump opposes.
SO I’m sure I understand why the Arizona Republic did it. They have THEIR interests at heart. But I think they will be disappointed to find out many Arizonans prefer jobs to cheap labor...after all, many of us live here and don’t have millions to live on.
Newspaper says “private email server...mistake”
Ha!
It was an integral part of the Clinton’s Crime Family operations.
That is like saying the Valentine’s Day Massacre was a “mistake” by Al Capone!
