I'm old enough to remember when Dems were NOT what they are today. As a matter of fact, many would call then "conservatives", though they weren't as they have ALWAYS been for BIG GOVERNMENT! And no, JFK was NOT a "conservative" at all, even though he was for lowering taxes a bit. What he was, was STUPID! Not as stupid as Teddy and not are devious as Bobby, but His book, PROFILES IN COURAGE, was NOT written by him, he STOLE that line about "ASK NOT...." from the headmaster of his boarding school, who said that at every assembly, or whatever, for more decades than JFK was alive, and until Obama, THE least prepared for the position in America's history!
