I'm sure you know the difference, I call attention to the fact that an idiot journalist actually expects anyone to take their purported analysis seriously and gets something so basic wrong? A post on a board, one thing, we all know what's meant, a piece of ostensibly professional analysis? Darn tootin’ a grammatical error or wrong usage of a common English word discredits everything else written.
The accuracy of the writing is a direct indication of both effort and intellect put in to something and thus a nearly perfect indicator of if I should give any credence to the content. YMMV

I totally agree, Rocker. FReepers are not making a living writing to impress people. When I see errors in an article by a journalist, I discount it AND its author entirely.
