Mika’s reaction makes sense to me. Hillary went out and preached to the insiders crowd. She fired what the DC ELite and leftist MSM think are the magic bullets to take out Trump. It was sweet music to their ears.
The problem? The MSM thinks these bullets have never been fired at him before. Between her endless campaign commercials and the MSM’s (WaCompost) endless stories, there is no bullet with any magic left in that gun.
Meanwhile, Trump continued to deliver the message that got him where he is today.
Arms folded, head bowed, looking like she’s going to cry. Yup. That’s as good a barometer as any to how Hillary did.
Lots of Monday morning QBing going on here.
Trump is Trump. He’s not going to change and if he did, it would be phony. He’s not going to become a master debater in the course of a few months. As long as he doesn’t get too defensive and make a major gaffe, he’s fine. He’s a good businessman and communicator, but he is not a phony BSer like Clinton is. That’s to his credit.
After the debate, Trump admitted that he was holding back on some issues - maybe he’s saving them for later - who knows? They have a plan and so far, it’s working well.
If you’re on the cusp of winning, you want to remain positive. Your most loyal constituency is the people who are voting FOR you, not just against your opponent. If it’s close toward the end of the race, then you use your full arsenal - positive and negative. We’re not there yet.
It’s telling that even at this point, Clinton is going all out negative on Trump.
Hillary was haughty and full of rehearsed mumbo-jumbo.
Trump missed some opportunities, but I don’t blame him under the circumstances.
He was right about showing more restraint than her.
Just for instance, when she was accusing him of loving to be around beauty pageants (???), he could have lobbed a bubba’s bimbos zinger her way, but he chose not to do so.
I listened to an interesting argument this morning that got me thinking. The commentator said that even though there was a lot of ‘visibility’ into the debate and lots of people tuned in, most people will only watch about 20-30 minutes of a debate at most before tuning out. He said most people tuned in for the first 20 minutes of the debate before leaving and it was during that period that Trump was at his best, talking about the economy and trade and really keeping Clinton reeling. By the time Holt and Clinton were tag teaming him about his tax returns most people had tuned out. This would seem to jive with Mika’s assessment of how Trump is connecting better with people.
Mika is forgetting how corrupt and incompetent Hillary is
Clinton was very robotic. She looked so freaking ancient.
Young people will not vote for her just on her looks alone. She does not bring any sense of hope for the future. She is sour, she is shrill, she is depressing.
Trump is going to be the next USA president.
Who knew Mike had a brain?
Between 33,000 emails illegally deleted and 30 years of failing to deal with long-standing problems, most undecided have probably leaned away from Mrs. Clinton, even if they’re not enthustiastic about Mr. Trump.
She has more sense then many Freepers!
Hillary “amazing”?!? No way. iirc, Mika was once babbling about Trump not knowing meaning of words or some such nonsense. She sounded confused.
Great stuff as usual... thank you! :-)
