Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus has declared Donald Trump the winner of Monday nights debate.
While Donald Trump won tonights debate by being the candidate of true change in Washington, Hillary Clinton spent the night championing a broken system which has let the American people down time and again, Priebus said in a statement following the debate. The statement went on:
Living up to her reputation as dishonest and untrustworthy, she revealed just how willing she is to put her own ambition above being truthful with the American people. Whether it was evading her flip-flops on TPP, misleading about an uptick in crime, or refusing to answer for her multiple botched foreign policy decisions, Hillary Clinton could not shed her trademark dishonesty and level with the public.
Donald Trump showed he is the only candidate in this race with the ideas to stimulate our economy, defeat radical Islamic terrorism, and keep our streets safe in every community. The American people deserve better than a dishonest career Washington politician defending a failed status quo, and Donald Trump showed tonight he is the only candidate with the big picture leadership our country needs.

Well said.
Trump is going to start pulling away in the polls.
The dam is about to break. If you thought you saw panic on the Left, you haven’t seen it yet.
Trump is on a roll!
The poll results suggest (to me, at least) that there is much more enthusiasm for Trump than for Hillary. Hopefully, that will translate to a greater voter turnout for Trump on election day.
Trump held his own.
Dirty trick with his microphone up super high and sensitive. Dirty trick with Holt asking 4 or 5 ‘gotcha’ questions scripted by his NBC superiors.
But Trump held his own. Looked Presidential.
He needs to block and pivot. On the IRS, “Tens of millions of small business owners understand there’s too much time going through a phone book-size tax code trying to comply every year. Do you want a businessman who has been through that and knows the damage the IRS and federal regulations can do, or do you want a politician who has never run a real business in her life?”
Agree with you.
Charles Krauthammer (no friend of Trump - pretty much a #NeverTrump’er) even said Trump won. He said the only thing Trump needed to do is go out on stage, stand toe to toe with Hillary Clinton for 90 minutes, and not make any major gaffes. Which he accomplished. Basically Krauthammer said that Trump didn’t need to win the debate on points, all he needed to do was have the undecided voters say, “Yeah, I can see that guy as my president.” because if you are undecided on Hillary after her 25 years in the public eye, it really means you are against her and just looking for a reason to vote for someone else, and Trump gave them that reason.
I saw enough to see that the camera was set to make Hillary appear larger than the Donald, and they never showed side by side except digitally so Hillary would appear talker and stronger
Words above Hillary said right, above Donald... Rong.
Clever media
But it didn’t help
Trump did OK, but Hillary scored some shots that needed to be addressed; she basically made him look like a boss who doesn’t pay his workers OR pay income taxes. He has to rectify those points in the next debates; they resonate with people who (believe it or not) are still “undecided”...
“Donald Trump showed he is the only candidate in this race with the ideas to stimulate our economy, defeat radical Islamic terrorism, and keep our streets safe in every community.”........
Trump needs to respond to issues that Clinton brings up with this: “If you always do what you have always done, why are you expecting a different result”? I would throw that in her ugly puss every time she starts talking. Get her pissed off and then watch the sparks fly.
I think she used every arrow she had in her quiver. Trump didn’t get a chance to scratch the surface.
I was thinking (and hoping) the same thing; he’d better use the rest of his in the next couple of debates.
Trump was the only one to draw real blood - cheered me a bit the several times when her grin was replaced by a kicked-in-the-gut look of distress.
Any difference in performance was caused by Holt.
Rience: You agreed to the moderators. This is on you.
Trump could’ve done that with every question asked last night and every statement made by Clinton. He needs to get off defense and go on offense. Never except the premise of their statements and questions.
“Yeah, I can see that guy as my president. because if you are undecided on Hillary after her 25 years in the public eye, it really means you are against her and just looking for a reason to vote for someone else, and Trump gave them that reason.”
I don’t watch debates, for the simple reason that it is always the same format, the same attacks on the Republican candidate and the same liberal spin.
In saying that, all Trump needed to do was to show up, take everything they threw at him, counter attack enough to let America knows he has the temperament to be President. He did that.
Trump is venturing into Dem turf for votes (not just speaking to black churches, but even by participating in contrived debates); Hillary will not be benefiting from these exchanges in terms of new support. Meanwhile, Otoken is visiting Philly to try and rally the black votes that should have been a sure thing for Cankles...
