I am surprised how critical a number of posters are. Yes, Trump should have brought up a number of issues. But overall, he came across as presidential. Hillary came across as her unlikable self.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think he made any fatal mistakes. Maybe that was all he had to do, but he didn’t land any haymakers either. So he didn’t help himself in any major way.

Trump got his points across, but many feel he did not phrase the point the way they would like to see it phrased.

Donald Trump hit a good medium tone on most issues that put the idea out in the public at a level all could understand, especially undecided voters, without angering or alienating undecided voters.

We are not Trumps real audience. The debates for Trump are all about reaching out to undecided and aliened Democrat voters to get them on board and not anger or alienate them . Trumps instinctively frames his replies in this exact tone to perfection and that is what it takes to win.
