Black society has no problem accepting and condoning self-proclaimed ‘pastors’, ‘reverends’ ‘apostles’ and ‘prophets and prophetesses’. There’s big money in ‘feeling’ religious among the gullible.. Sad how role-playing shysters use the formula-from high-profile cons like Sharpton and Jackson to the neighborhood pretenders with living room ‘churches’- and find trusting believers to bleed dry.
The office liberal once brought up Sharpton as the source of his argument - and implied he was unimpeachable, being a reverend. I couldn’t stop laughing. He was very annoyed, so I explained to him that Al was not a reverend. Several Google searches later, he was still annoyed - but speechless. The poor sap had gone his whole life thinking Al was really a minister.
