Sen. Bernie Sanders plans to join Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton this week at an event in New Hampshire where they will pitch a joint plan to make college more affordable -- part of a continuing effort to sell the partys ticket to wary millennials.
Sanders, the runner-up in the Democratic primaries, consistently outperformed Clinton among young voters. As he prepared to exit the race in July, he worked with Clinton to incorporate parts of his college plan into hers.
The result is a proposal to make public colleges and universities tuition-free for families with income up to $125,000 a year and to make the college years debt-free for everyone.

I remember that! Only thing I could think of was sad trombone music.
My generation tend to be socially liberal, sad to say, but they also get REALLY pissed off when it’s revealed that someone’s lying to them. And Hildebeast? Total liar.
I don’t even care anymore about the dramas surrounding college debt and unemployed graduates. If you are stupid enough to take out massive loans to go to a name brand school and you don’t study something practical, I am certain that you deserve all the struggling you’re going to suffer. I am fed up to the backteeth hearing about the loan crisis, how parents are going to pay for their spud’s tuition (parents should leave it to their kids to figure that one out) and frankly I am sick of all of it.
I didn’t go to school after I suffered a nervous breakdown and I got a TON of hassle about not going to school and it made things a lot more difficult for me in regards to not living up to expectations right away. I am certain that I did the right thing mainly since I avoided getting saddled with massive debt and avoided adding to my mental troubles by having to deal with a huge bill and expectations of making regular payments I can’t afford to make.
I am sick of this “college culture” that deifies students and the belief that a person has to go to college RIGHT AWAY and somehow a person is a failure if they don’t.
You forget about how business is demonized as “Big Business” and I for one think that it’s an OUTRAGE that taxpayer dollars are in fact going towards these asinine institutions.
Bernie voters were relieved of their time and cash.
Suckers
Woo hoo—and free unicorn rides for getting the kiddos home and back on the holidays!
