Great sadness that he is gone. He was a LEGEND. He would occasionally come to WFU many years ago and just visit with the students.He and Brian Piccolo were our most famous athletes.He played at our local club about 14 years ago and I was wearing a Demon Deacon shirt and laughing he signed my brochure. A moment I wont forget..
Palmer was also one fine airplane pilot.A great man, he shall be missed.
