Didn’t used to be that difficult to own guns in Sweden but of course they were all registered. Socialist government has tightened the screws so hard that gun “owners” must now go to a central armory to draw them out for day hunting trips only.
Lots of Swedes just said screw it & sold their guns to importers. I have three nice Husqvarna shotguns bought for a nice price.
We have guns and Swedes don’t anymore. Omar & Achmed know they’ll get capped here for doing what they do in Malmo.
A friend who recently bought a Swedish model 1896 6.5mm rifle (from the days when nations sent their troops to war with arms that almost put civilian arms to shame) told me that the average Swede is allowed no more than four rifles...and many who wish to upgrade to more modern boomsticks have been handing in older rifles like their 1896 Mausers.
Fortunately, many of them have made their way to friendlier nations such as the US.
