Secular liberals always convert to Islam when it comes to do-or-die time. Always.
For folks who don’t believe in God, if saving their necks means repeating the Shahada, they’ll repeat it.
Outwardly, they are then new moslem converts. But their kids will be raised in strict madrassa schools, and won’t learn that dad was just a coward who punked out and submitted to Islam.
