ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIRST DEBATE BETWEEN
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Donald John Trump
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD, NY
9 PM MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2016
The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
He missed a lot of opportunities, for sure.
Let’s see....
She’s kicking his a$$
Lester Holt is in the tank for Trump
Will any news site dare put a poll asking who won?
Trump was exhausted after 45 minutes
Britt Hume just said Hillary’s face was “not attractive” to television viewers
I expect Trump to duck out on the next 2 debates
(NOTE: This is from Democratic Underground, NOT ME!)
“no votes changed hands tonight. Ill be surprised if this moves the needle..”
Totally agree. Trump may have picked up a few but nothing significant.

Trump did NOT look "good" at all. As a matter of fact, he looked bad!Holt did what he was told to do and helped Hillary.
And Trump should have said “Gee did you show stamina when you were watching FOUR AMERICAN HEROES DIE and didnt do a damn thing to save them”
Trump did great. He stayed on message and that’s what he needs to do. Just keep calling her out.
Thanks guys!
Globalist. Spit.

Am I supposed to find something Hillary did wrong so you feel like I'm being "fair?" Again, grow the hell up. Anything Hillary did tonite is chump change against what Trump did, and didn't do, tonight.
It helps nobody to give trophies for sub standard performance. Trump's lack of preparation showed big time. Hopefully, someone in his campaign will let him know rehashing his rallies is NOT how to win debates.
She made him look bad.
Internet polls are absolutely worthless for many reasons. Not only do they not represent multiple demographics. They are also incredibly easy to cheat.
It’s the first round of 3..
Clinton is on the record calling TPP a gold standard deal in 2012 when she was serving as secretary of state, and her phrasing back then did not match her claim tonight of hoping the deal would be worthy of support.
Quote Clinton said at an event in Australia in 2012.:
This TPP sets the gold standard in trade agreements to open free, transparent, fair trade, the kind of environment that has the rule of law and a level playing field, ... And when negotiated, this agreement will cover 40% of the worlds total trade and build in strong protections for workers and the environment.
[I completely disagree that Trump was bullying.]
MIKE PENCE is on CBS News. He is emphasizing the personal attacks HILLARY keep trying to repeat. He was proud TRUMP kept his cool and acted PRESIDENTIAL.
He could’ve said I’ve never stopped supporting her!
A draw is basically a win.
Hillary won on points but Trump won on his larger message of change.
Considering he debated in a hostile environment, I would say he did what he needed to do.
The biased moderator, leading questions and constant interruptions from Holt notwithstanding.
I thought I wandered into DU at times here tonight.
Same here.
Trump is real...Illary is fake...
That’s what a saw and heard.
No way that she is going to win.
Yes of course you're right. The correct time shown on C-Span when I took the screen pics was 10:42 ET
