Moderator for the debate is Lester Holt, the anchor of the NBC Nightly News

The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

I noticed that Diamond was in the audience at Hannity’s Town Hall the other night - camera went to her a couple of times. Thought it was great she was there (I didn’t see Silk, but she may have had other commitments). My only critique is that the Town Hall didn’t go a little longer and that they didn’t interview D&S on stage.

I wasn’t surprised to see the thread a day early - it makes sense to me.

This is such an historical event, plus the media has been yammering about it all week....add to that the Trump Family folk probably wanted it yesterday so they could chat about everything going on.

We were having to pop back to the Roanoke rally thread and needed a new “home”, so it’s perfect.

Now, about this debate....I STILL have certain expectation that Hitlery will bail.

Thanks for the early debate thread Nikos, I can hardly wait till tomorrow. Just finished watching the Roanoke rally, Trump is in incredible form and gave his best speech of the campaign. I am certain that he will give a fantastic performance tomorrow night.
