I’m sorry for the loss for the team and Floridians. I’ve been on boats on Lake Washington at night and as you say, it’s totally different (and I found a bit scary); and, we’re talking a very large lake not maneuvering those types of waters. I guess my only question is why were they out on a boat at 3 a.m. - is that something that one normally does in FL?

Actually they were “found” at 3:00 am. Hard to say when or what time they actually crashed or when they left the dock. Would not be unusual for a boat to have crashed hours before they are found. As a matter of fact that’s how it normally happens.
