In a related vein, looking for football scores a few minutes ago (and seeing that both Michigan and Michigan teams disgraced themselves today) I saw on MSN that Ted Cruz, shown in a contemplative, statesmanlike pose, was still conflicted as to “whether Trump would be a fit president”.
At the risk of raising the ire of barely closeted Cruzero flakes here and their CAIR-like charges of “Cruz derangement syndrome!” this is what a lot of us who still despise Felito were trying to stress the other day: Ted still wants it `both ways’.
Cruz is either on the Trump train or he isn’t. As he tries to set this ship aright, Trump is going to need all hands on deck, not below decks wondering whether it is worth their time and trouble. We need everyone (clearing throat, cough cough) claiming to oppose Hillary Clinton on board.
Trump won the GOP nomination last spring. Its fall now. He will win in November but our `Achilles’ can’t have it both ways, the POS. He either comes out of his tent, quits sulking, gets completely on board and has a seat... or he can GTH out of the way. He lost.
After Trump is sworn in the real battles begin and we don’t need reluctant, unctuous, self-described “true conservatives” throwing up roadblocks to taking back this country from the barbarians.
whew, rant over
Michigan and Michigan State
Well stated and you are so right in how you’ve laid it out.
As a side note, on twitter tonight regarding the Turk that shot the 5 in WA, the never Trumpers are out of their freakin minds over this - I’ve absolutely had it with the narrow minded pouting cruzoids and their damn the world attitude.
Because of that, and as a PSU alum, my team WON yesterday regardless the final score.
