With a previous criminal record I suspect it was an illegal gun.

I also doubt there was a book, when pulled over you don’t reach for a book, or ignore an officer’s orders, you may not like or agree with them but you obey. One of the first things taught in CCW class. Hands on wheel in plain site, tell officer what you plan to do, do it slowly.

These idiots remind me of the book Lord of the Fly’s.

Who is the owner of record regarding said weapon?

Scott was a convicted felon, having served time in TX from 2006-2011. So wouldn't he be barred from gun ownership in NC just 5 years later?

After that Waco biker shootout, I’m not sure we should trust anything the cops say.

I thought DNA analysis took a longer time than this.

When the rioting is no longer seen as a benefit by the Democrats and the Clinton campaign the video will be released and we will all be told to move on. Until then efforts to promote racial division and stimulate black turnout will continue.

This is what GOOGLE brought up:

About 30-60 mins to extract DNA but longer if it is a difficult sample, roughly 90 mins for PCR, about an hour for a gel and then analysis time. Add in time for controls and calibration, plus some general inefficiency Usually half a day.
