Just bounce the round ball and put it in the round hoop.

I agree. Let’s have social change that eliminates professional sports from our society.

Dear NBA: you’ll excuse me if I dismiss lessons on social justice and morality from individuals who father multiple children by multiple women all out of wedlock.

And here I thought Steve Kerr was sensible.

NBA no!

NHL, yes!

I think it’s time for professional sports to honor the black’s requests for quotas in the workplace....

Gosh, I wonder how race relations could have fallen so much under 8 years of the second black president?

“is how players and coaches can help create substantive change in cities across the country. “

Refund the money saved from the tax incentives that built your luxury palaces.

99.9% tax on NBA players. Give the money to homeless vets + school vouchers for kids.

That should be a start.

Maybe they out to talk about the ticket prices being a burden on average families. How ‘bout a little economic justice?

When they start talking about blacks shooting other blacks in places like Chicago, maybe I’ll listen for a few minutes.

I think the racial make-up of NBA teams should “look like America.”

The janitors and ushers should make the same as the players. How about some of that social justice? :o)

I guess this means the NBA will become 64% White to more reflect the Racial makeup of the U.S.

I do agree with this. Make the focus other than police and kneeling and they could find serious community support.

For Van Gundy, it goes much deeper than just reacting to shootings.

He spoke at length about urging the Pistons to vote and how the organization responded to a water crisis in Flint, Michigan. He also talked about how Pistons forward Marcus Morris had a 6-year-old cousin injured by gunfire this summer; the boy survived, even though the vehicle he was in was caught in a flurry of crossfire.

Heh, that would be fun.

Anyone who knows me well knows that I think professional sports are crap. If you want to pay to watch people get paid to play a sportball or drive a car, fine ... but leave the taxpayer out of it.
