Cameras at each polling location where you sign the books would go a long way towards helping
catch some of these cheats. It seems to me that a cross check should be mandated when a death
certificate is issued.

In California, it’s in the hands of each county’s registrar of voters. When my mother died, in Orange County, California, a card was sent to her from the Registrar of Voters telling her that she would no longer be able to vote as she had died on ______ date. Those people are ON THE BALL.

So at least in California, if there’s hanky panky going on with dead people voting, look no further than the county’s Registar of Voters for the bad guys.
