I left Cruz as soon as Cruz started pursuing NeverTrump GOPe endorsements. Trump walked away as soon as Cruz unfairly attacked Trump.

Media reported his Wife went back to work for Goldman Sachs, Rick Perry may challenge for his Senate seat, and Glenn Beck is IMPLODING. So maybe he has seen the writing on the wall and is now in Salvage Mode.
Ted needs to experience REAL LIFE, learn from it and grow, it just appears to many of us that he is a slow learner in the Ego and Character departments.
I wonder if Trey Gowdy could work WITH him (Cruz working for Trey) That would be a fun combination to see in action

Some on here have absolutely no grace at all! It was a terribly hard choice for Cruz to make. I have changed my views not one jot about Donald Trump. But I am going to vote for him because the alternative of Hillary is unthinkable. And concerning the dog catcher crack, Ted Cruz is a better person than you will ever be!

I wouldn’t say that.....I would say if Cruz determined he needed all this time to “see” if he could or not support Trump then those who were more than just disappointed he didn’t support Trump at convention surely need time to adjust to his “change” now that he’ll support Trump...and voice this as well.

I disagree that Cruz should have endorsed at the convention. Cruz gave a good convention speech. He encouraged voters to go out and vote their conscience and vote for freedom up and down the ticket. He left it open to endorsing Trump at some point in the future, which is what he ultimately did. He ultimately decided the the issues on which they agree, and keeping Hillary out of the White House, trumped everything else.

I can see why some may think that but I will have a long heart to heart with my Dog tonight and make sure he understands who I am and what role he plays. I anticipate lots of stubby tail wagging, big sad eyes and ear scratching.

Guess you forgot about Trump denigrating Ted's wife as being ugly and then 3 times accusing Ted dad of having part in the assassination of President Kennedy He is a better and more magnanimous man than me. I don't think I could ever get past those slurs of my family.

Well that position has been going on since Cruz dropped out so that’s nothing new.....some just take longer to get there, in most case because they have to mentally wade through how they can support and what voting really means to them.

I was warned very early that Ted was not at all as he seemed. I was told he was basically another “It's-all-about-me-politician!”. I couldn't see that then but his breaking his word just like Yeb & Kaisch showed a lack of personal honor. Then his childish display of pique at the convention showed me who he really was. Just like I was told another “hack” career politician.

No secret I was fully a Cruz supporter right up til he lost.......but then I lost my high opinion of the man when he did not endorse Trump at Convention. It was a callous way to set people up then never give what he led people to think he would do....payed his card like 'Comfy' did right when he had the power to make a huge difference.

Hopefully, other conservative on the fence conservatives will decide that there are many reasons to support Trump over Hillary. Cruz outlined 6 big ones.

Better late than never. I hope Trump graciously accepts the endorsement with some warm words for Cruz and his supporters. The Republican Party needs to unite against Hillary or the Republic may be finished....
