She, however, is likely insisting that Trump sit as well because of the unfair optics. She probably wants town hall style.
I believe that if Trump were to issue a statement requesting that his opponent be allowed to sit during the debate, he would come across to many as a ‘kinder and gentler’ guy. Plus, I’m thinking of the Kennedy/Nixon debate where Nixon’s perceived ‘unhealthiness’ helped Kennedy to win the debate.

I agree. If Hillary insists on sitting, I assume both her and Donald Trump will be provided with stools on stage. If that's the case, when Trump is asked a question, he should stand up, maybe walk around a bit, answer the question, then sit back down. If Hillary remains seated throughout the debate, the contrast will be very noticeable, and Trump won't have to say a word about it during the debate. The people will know what they saw.
