Why refer to the dirtbag as “gentleman”

He was a lifelong POS with a long history
The officer had spent nearly 10 minutes with him at gunpoint with him refusing to cooperate, while a gun was pointed at him

Bottom line; If he had listened to her, he would be alive.

An officer not even aware that the window of a car that had been sitting there all the time, was shut as it had always been.

Who flinched at the sound of another officer’s tazer.

Who does not belong on that or any other force.

It doesn’t get you anywhere calling people names.

I was reading a book on forensic sciences. The police were questioning a suspect on a grisly murder of a child. One officer was kind to the suspect, calling him sir or mister. At his own expense, he purchased a KFC meal for both of them and sat down and ate with him. Shortly after the meal, the suspect confessed all. The officer later asked why he confessed? The suspect explained that the officer was the only one who EVER treated him kindly.

There is no reason to be cruel and abusive. We should be kind all the way up until and including throwing that switch. Calling names dehumanizes and makes inhumane treatment easier. That is why soldiers use terms like Japs, Krauts, Nips, etc., dehumanize, easier to kill. I work with livestock. I always try to speak or think kindly even when they are bad. You have to be a pretty big sicko to beat on something you call babe, pal, friend.

"Bottom line; If he had listened to her, he would be alive."

He was unarmed and was not charging her.

What else do you need to know? What else could possibly be relevant?
