Just saw your update/knitting post.

I might try to take up knitting. I would love to have something to do while waiting in offices/traveling, etc. I've been looking at fabric, for sewing. I have the machine set up so it's easy to start new sewing projects.

I still have a strip quilt I need to finish, too 😱

My sister learned to knit by using very large needles (broomsticks) and making Afgans She said the final produces became easier and faster as she maid for each member of family Knitted on her school bus as she waited at school to let the kids out.

I am a knitter - it’s great because you can take it with you.

Let me encourage you to hang in there! People love receiving nice home-knit sweaters. I try and whip up a little Nordic knit sweater whenever a baby is born (usually a grandbaby to one of my friends).

Having said that, I am currently behind 2 sweaters. I’ve been spending too much time following The Donald around! Let me be the first to say it - Trump’s fault! lol
