Let me guess, the Research Triangle did well, and thus attracts leftists. Fortunately, not enough to prevent sensible acts such as HB2. Unfortunately, it’s attracting people that would push for its repeal.

Is the rural/urban rule in play in NC, or are there non-rural parts where conservatives aren’t pilloried? Aside from Charlotte, Chapel Hill has leftist leanings (if not for the university, I’d have been surprised) and Asheville has some wish to be East Austin.

All the big cities here are libtards, but the rural areas almost always go republican, except in 2008 when Obama fooled the majority with the “ Hope and Change “ crap.
