They need better non-lethal alternatives to deal with these types of situations by put they still need the gun if the other guy does draw down on them. It doesn’t take but a split sec for that bullet to rip through your skin on the unprotected regions.

There were multiple other officers with her. I could see being more twitchy if she was alone. Something was up with him tho. Leaving a running vehicle in the middle of the road saying “it’s going to blow” is definitely strange and suspect. But, being suspect is never a reason to get shot, tased, or even arrested. So, details on what took place after his arms were up is paramount.

I’d like to know a couple of things, that hopefully will be revealed.

1. Did he ever drop his arms - to give reason to believe he was reaching for a weapon?

2. Did he fall after being tasered? Did the taser have any effect on him?
