It’s actually very smart. When college students aren’t stressing over class work, they are usually stressing on their phones or computers or gaming systems.

Coloring is a mindless downtime activity.

My adult daughters have been coloring for years, one more than the other. It’s relaxing for her and she enjoys it.

Neither of my girls are little snowflakes. Both left home by 20 and are living on their own and making their own way through life. Both are conservative and Christian.

One is very artsy but the other is cut and dried black and white. However, she loves the theatrical arts. Kinda weird.

We sprung for tickets to their favorite musical a couple years ago. When it was finally, mercifully over, she said “wasn’t it wonderful?’ “Yea, sure” was my response. I’ve never been so bored in my life.

Last year, all of my kids and some friends wanted to go to NYC to see the Lion King on stage. I drove them all and chose to walk around for 3 hours instead of subjecting myself to the play.
